Bouncing back or bouncing forward? Tourism destinations’ crisis resilience and crisis management tactics

In recent years, the tourism literature has demonstrated a growing interest in concept of resilience and its implications for travel tourism. However, research is still early stages there are many challenges ahead. response to these challenges, current study examines how destinations practising recovery face crisis, using case analysis global overcoming crisis: France, Turkey, Russia, Korea, Belgium Egypt. The results indicate use both crisis management practices tactics by destinations. Taking perspective theory, findings demonstrate that, following will focus on re-orienting system regenerating growth. These responses include investment infrastructure facilities, product development, market development conduct structural reforms. outcomes contribute understanding destinations, shed new light relations between resilience.
